2017 has been a great year for me…
I moved from Sunderland to Exeter and found an ideal little home; I started an awesome new job at KOR Communications, which has been both challenging and rewarding in equal measures; I attended industry events and training that have furthered my passion and knowledge for public relations; I’ve been planning my wedding (roll on October 2018!!); I’ve had countless day trips, time spent with family and friends and attended a fair few games of rugby…
… and I finally started this blog.
Admittedly, it hasn’t got a blog feed as full as I was hoping yet, but that has been quite simply due to time. I was really proud of my previous blog and how I found inspiration to post, so that’s my resolution for 2018:
To delve into the trends, topics and events in public relations, social media and communications. To improve my blog and my knowledge and, hopefully, share with you some really thought-provoking and insightful content regularly.
And I’m starting this by posing a question to you, reader: what do you think will be the biggest change to the PR industry in 2018?
Please leave your thoughts in the comments here, or tweet me here. I’ll use all the (hopefully wonderful!) content and comments for a blog, or series of blogs, in the New Year exploring some of the key topics in more detail.
Wishing you a very happy New Year!
PS: My other, personal resolutions include learning to cook one new tasty meal from scratch each month (I’m notoriously bad at cooking!) and to work my way through my bookshelf and read at least a couple of books each month (I’ve been terrible at reading anything other than blogs since leaving uni, I blame having to read too many textbooks…)
I’m hoping by leaving these here too, it might make me a little more accountable!
